What we cover — and how each is delivered
Developmental / structural editing
Structural diagnosis, an editorial plan, and either bounded implementation or an editorial letter — as scoped. This work is specialist-assisted and independently reviewed. It is not sold as fully autonomous AI delivery, and we will tell you plainly if your manuscript’s complexity requires a vetted human specialist route before we quote.
Copyediting / line-level editing
Correctness, consistency, clarity, and line-level readability while preserving your voice and meaning — a primary edit followed by an independent second review, continuity/terminology checks, and tracked changes with queries.
Proofreading
Final-stage mechanical correctness and consistency after substantive editing is substantially complete — a deterministic pass plus a second independent QA pass, with a tracked corrections and query log.
Publishing / production support
Manuscript and file readiness, front/back matter coordination, metadata and category preparation, and formatting or upload-support coordination for KDP/IngramSpark-style platforms, where current delivery capability permits. You keep copyright, account ownership, and every publishing decision — we do not promise representation, bestseller status, rankings, or sales.
What happens before you’re quoted
- We confirm your manuscript’s stage and which service actually fits it.
- We capture approximate word count, genre, and your desired outcome.
- We confirm the delivery route (internal supervised, or specialist-assisted for higher-risk developmental work) and the QA plan.
- Only then do we quote a bounded scope, timeline, and revision boundary.
