When you contact us, request free sample prospects, order a Prospect Research list, or submit an Author & Books inquiry, we may collect:

• Email address
• Phone number
• Company or business name
• Business website address
• Your stated target market, geography, or exclusions (Prospect Research)
• Your book stage, objective, audience, and current obstacle (Author inquiries)
• The contents of your message or inquiry
• Communications with us by email, phone, or WhatsApp
• Billing details for paid engagements (processed by third-party payment providers)
Public-source research data (Prospect Research): our Prospect Research service involves researching businesses from legitimate public sources to compile source-cited, date-checked records matched to a client’s stated target market. This may include company names, public business details, public business contact pathways, named business contacts where publicly listed in that capacity, and the source and date each record was checked. We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information as part of Prospect Research and do not guess or infer contact details that are not publicly available. 2. Information Collected Automatically
Our website and hosting infrastructure may automatically record limited technical information — such as IP address, browser type, and device information — in server and security logs used for security, spam prevention, and rate limiting. Our website currently uses only essential cookies; we do not currently run third-party analytics or advertising trackers on this site.
3. How We Use Information
We use your information to:
• Respond to your inquiry (website inquiries receive a reference ID and an acknowledgment email)
• Deliver guides or resources you request
• Provide and manage services you engage us for
• Process payments through third-party payment providers
• Communicate about projects and engagements
• Prevent fraud, spam, and misuse
• Improve website performance
• Produce Prospect Research records and Author & Books recommendations, which may involve AI-assisted research, drafting, or review tools alongside human review
We do not use personal information for third-party advertising; see the Service Providers & Disclosure section below for how Prospect Research deliverables are handled.
4. Transactional vs. Marketing Communications
Inquiry acknowledgments, reference IDs, and delivery of a guide you requested are transactional communications — they respond directly to your request. Requesting a guide or submitting an inquiry does not enroll you in a newsletter or recurring marketing. If we send marketing communications, you may opt out at any time by replying or contacting hello@bemytech.com.
5. Payments
Payments for engagements are processed securely by third-party payment providers. We do not store or process your full card details directly.
6. Cookies
We currently use only cookies that are necessary for the website to function and stay secure. We do not currently use third-party analytics or advertising cookies. You may disable cookies through your browser settings. If our use of cookies changes materially, we will update this policy.
7. Service Providers & Disclosure
We share personal information only as needed to operate our business, with service providers acting on our behalf — currently including our website hosting and email-delivery provider (Hostinger), our forms platform (Fluent Forms), our payment processor (Stripe), and the internal system we use to track engagements. Producing Prospect Research and Author recommendations may involve AI-assisted tools used by our team as part of our research and drafting process. We share only the minimal information necessary for that purpose, and any third-party AI tool we use processes information under that provider’s own terms. We may also disclose information where required by law or to protect our rights. We do not use personal information for third-party advertising. Our Prospect Research service may provide clients with publicly listed business contact information selected according to the client’s stated business criteria. This may include a named business contact where that person is publicly identified in a business role. We restrict the use and redistribution of research deliverables as described in our Terms.
8. Data Retention
Prospect-request targeting details are retained for up to 24 months so delivered prospect lists can avoid repeating records you have already received; you may request deletion sooner at any time.
We retain inquiry and engagement records for as long as needed to respond, provide services, meet legal and accounting obligations, and maintain business records. You may request deletion of your personal data as described below.
9. Data Security
We implement reasonable safeguards to protect your data. However, no system guarantees absolute security.
10. Processing in the United States
As a US-registered company, your information may be processed in the United States.
11. Your Rights & Choices
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data — including Prospect Research records naming you or your business — by contacting hello@bemytech.com. We will honor applicable requests under the laws that apply to you.
12. Children's Privacy
Our website and services are intended for businesses and business owners. They are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Our website may link to third-party websites or platforms. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.
