We’d rather tell you what we don’t know than guess.
Be My Tech researches source-cited companies worth contacting for businesses, and writes context-based next-step recommendations for authors — both built on the same evidence-led method.
Why Be My Tech exists
Most research and advice you can buy is either guessed, templated, or sold to you before anyone has actually looked at your situation. We built Be My Tech to do the opposite: research first, recommend second, and say plainly when something isn’t a fit.
How we operate
Evidence-led
Every Prospect record ships with the source and the date it was checked. Every author recommendation is a written response to what you actually told us — not a template.
Founder-reviewed
The founder reviews Prospect research and author recommendations before they reach you. Nothing ships unchecked.
Technology as a tool, not a shortcut
We use research tools and AI to move faster — never as a substitute for verification. If something can’t be confirmed, we say so instead of filling the gap.
What we refuse to do
- We do not guess contacts or invent names in Prospect research
- We do not promise replies, sales, rankings, or revenue
- We do not force authors into a package before the fit is clear
- We do not publish claims we can’t support
Why one company, two services
Prospect Research and Authors & Books look different on the surface, but they solve the same kind of problem: you’re facing a decision and don’t have reliable information to make it with. Both services exist to close that gap — with real research, reviewed by a person, before you spend money or time on the wrong thing.
What to expect
Be My Tech is founder-supervised and intentionally small. That means direct review of your request, not a queue. It also means we’re upfront about capacity and about what we can’t do — we’d rather tell you that than overpromise.
