Website design for small businesses

Small Business Website Design and Redesign

Be My Tech designs and redesigns websites for small businesses. We plan around what the site needs to do: explain your offer, guide visitors through useful pages, and make the next step clear on desktop and mobile.

Share your current site, the pages or features you need, and the problem you want to solve. Scope comes before a project price or delivery commitment.

New sites and redesigns

A website project should solve a clear business job.

A new design is useful when it gives visitors a clearer way to understand the business and take the next step. It is not automatically the right answer for every older site.

New website

Build around the pages your business needs.

Plan a small-business website with a clear structure, useful service information and the contact path the project actually requires.

Website redesign

Reshape a site that no longer fits.

Improve the page structure, navigation, mobile layout or presentation of an existing business website when those changes fit the agreed scope.

Add or improve pages

Make important information easier to find.

Scope service pages, landing pages or other site sections around a defined audience, offer and next step.

What BMT can design or redesign

Website work shaped to the project.

Be My Tech handles website design and development when the requirements are clear and the work fits the project. That may mean a new site, a redesign or a focused set of pages—not a preset package that assumes every business needs the same thing.

WordPress may be used where it suits the existing setup and the agreed work. The project scope identifies the platform, deliverables and responsibilities before work begins.

  • New small-business websites and redesigns of existing sites.
  • Multi-page business or service websites when separately scoped.
  • Service pages, landing pages, navigation and page hierarchy.
  • Responsive layouts for phone, tablet and desktop.
  • Contact, call, estimate, booking or request paths and forms where included.
  • Content structure and placement, with writing responsibilities defined up front.
  • WordPress implementation where it fits the project.
  • On-page search foundations, technical cleanup or analytics work only when named in scope.

A clear process

From first conversation to agreed delivery.

First we understand what the website needs to do. Then we confirm fit, define the work and agree the terms before design or development begins.

01

Tell us what you need

Share your current site if you have one, the business type, what the website should help visitors do, and the pages or features you have in mind.

02

Confirm fit and requirements

BMT reviews the request and identifies the platform, page scope, content and functionality details needed to plan the project.

03

Agree the scope

The written scope sets out deliverables, responsibilities, review stages, price, payment timing and the delivery plan before work starts.

04

Design, review and deliver

BMT creates the agreed work for your review, completes the included revisions, and handles handoff or launch as defined in the written scope.

Start with a website project inquiry

Tell us what your website needs to do.

Use the Website Project Inquiry form to share your current site (if you have one) and a short note about the business, pages, features or problem. If your project is broader than the fixed Website Rescue offer, describe what you have in mind; BMT can confirm whether it can be scoped.

Other useful starting points

Not sure what needs changing?

The Website Revenue Diagnostic is a $129 written review of one live business website and up to ten important URLs. It helps you decide what to fix; it does not make changes to your site. You do not need to buy it before asking about a website project.

Already fit the one-page rebuild?

Website Rescue is $1,500 for its defined one-page, mobile-first service-business rebuild. That price is specific to the stated Rescue scope, not a general price for every small-business website.

For cost questions, read the guide to website cost and scope.

A practical tool you can use yourself

Check the customer path before you choose a redesign.

Be My Tech created a free checklist with twelve observable checks for service clarity, service areas, mobile contact, estimate requests, forms and what happens after someone reaches out.

Use it to review your own site. It is a self-review tool, not a performance benchmark or a prediction of leads or revenue.

Common questions

Website design and redesign, clearly scoped.

Do you build new websites as well as redesign existing ones?

Yes. Be My Tech can design or redesign small-business websites when the project requirements and delivery scope are clear.

Can BMT build a multi-page site?

Multi-page projects are considered separately. The pages, features, content responsibilities, platform, price and delivery plan must be confirmed for that project.

Is every small-business website $1,500?

No. $1,500 is the price for the defined one-page, mobile-first Website Rescue rebuild for service businesses. It is not a general website design price.

Do I need the $129 Diagnostic first?

No. Contact BMT directly about a website project. The Diagnostic is an optional written review when you want help deciding what to change.

Can SEO or analytics work be included?

On-page search foundations, technical cleanup or analytics work may be included only when they are specified in the written scope. No ranking, lead or revenue result is guaranteed.

Can you work with WordPress?

WordPress implementation is considered where it fits the site and project requirements. Platform and hosting responsibilities are confirmed before work begins.

Your next step

Start with the website you have and the job it needs to do.

Tell Be My Tech what your business does, what the site should help visitors do, and which pages or features you have in mind. We will confirm fit and scope before any price or delivery commitment.
